ACR Goes Subscription Only

Since taking the reins of the ACR, a long-term goal of mine was always to keep the newsagency model active. We have a loyal audience of readers who enjoy collecting a copy of the magazine from their local shop, and my wish has been to continue that offer.

Like a lot of traditional media, print magazines have been going the way of the dodo for some time now, and despite our every effort to keep the offer active we have made the decision to pull the magazine from newsagents shelves.

From now onwards, the Australian Coin Review will be available by subscription only.

This decision has not been made lightly, but with the success of the Swan Dollar and a large growth in annual subscribers, along with keeping one eye on the environment (in recent months we saw well over half of newsagent copies unsold and in the bin), it is the right decision to make. The long-term growth, sustainability and improvement of our beloved magazine is always the priority.

If you are one of those regular newsagent readers, we hope you continue enjoying our magazine each month as a subscriber. You’ll enjoy a host of member benefits, including online access to 600+ current and historic issues, an incredible resource for collectors everywhere.

We truly appreciate the loyalty and support over the years, and look forward to the continued growth of our ACR community.
